Omega Customs & Forwarding Ltd is privately owned and operated. The Company was incorporated in 1993. We operate as an International Freight Forwarding and Customs Broker. As an independent Broker, we are able to look at a customer’s needs and requirements and nominate a Service Provider, who we know will best handle that particular order and meet the desired expectations of our customer for that particular shipment.
The import and export process can be a very challenging and time consuming experience, but it need not be. We take the stress and worry out of the process for you by handling the formalities involved on your behalf. We think it wiser to let you concentrate on your core business (what you do best) and let us help make the importing or exporting process a more simplified and enjoyable experience for you (what we do best).
Whether it be personal and household effects, an urgent courier shipment, a motor vehicle, perishables, collector’s firearms, dangerous goods or regular commercial shipments, we treat each one with the same professional and personal service. If you entrust your shipment to us, we will go the extra mile to ensure it moves smoothly from A to B and that you are kept informed during the process. Communication is everything so in the event that something does go wrong or there are delays incurred that this is communicated to you in a timely manner, so there are no surprises at the end of the day.

While our office is based in Auckland, New Zealand, we can process your import or export cargo to and from most origins and destinations around the world.

We can assist with Auckland metro or Intercity deliveries – FCL swing lift or flat deck, general cartage, Hiab, tail-lifter, or urgent courier delivery service.
Import or Export, both FCL (Full Container Load) and consolidated LCL (Less than a Container Load). On-line track and trace available.
Omega can offer competitive courier options for your smaller shipments or urgent orders. Be it import or export. In some cases, it can be more cost effective to move those smaller shipments via courier as opposed to air freight.
Customs Clearance /
Omega Customs is able to process your import or export clearances in a timely manner via our direct interface with the NZ Customs Service. With over 50 years combined experience in this area we are happy to assist with tariff consultancy or concession applications as well.
Marine Cargo Insurance
Do you require marine insurance cover for your air freight or sea freight shipments? Omega can assist you with your insurance cover.
Emigrating or moving overseas for a period and not sure what to do or how to go about packing and moving your household and personal effects. Give us a call, we will be happy to assist you with options for moving your P/Effects. If you have a household lot of goods to move, then arranging a FCL (Full Container Load) maybe the best option to look at. If you are looking for significant cost savings, then Omega can assist with this.
